AccessibilityOz is proud to build accessible WordPress websites, incorporating all required accessibility features as well as additional Level AAA requirements such as summary text, dictionary software, appropriate reading level and expanded abbreviations.

Disability Rights Washington

We first built the Disability Rights Washington site in 2014, and revised it again in 2017. Disability Rights Washington uses our accessible video player, OzPlayer. The site won bronze in the Advocacy / Non-Profit category from the Horizon Interactive Awards in 2018. AccessibilityOz assists Disability Rights Washington in maintaining the site.

Rooted in Rights

After successful completion of the Disability Rights Washington web site, AccessibilityOz built the Rooted in Rights web site in 2016. and chronic illness. Rooted in Rights is a not-for-profit organization that works to share narratives and perspectives on disability by providing a platform for people with disabilities to tell their stories, promoting visibility and advocacy for the disabled community. The RiR website won the Australian Web Award for Accessibility in 2016.

Disability Discrimination Ombudsman

Disability Rights Washington won the grant to operate the Disability Discrimination Ombudsman in 2016. AccessibilityOz built the site soon after, and it went on to win bronze in two categories (Health & Human Services and Advocacy / Non-Profit websites) from Horizon Interactive Awards in 2017. The site also received the Best in Class Award for the Nonprofit category from the Interactive Media Council’s Interactive Media Awards for design.

WWD-ACT

The Women with Disabilities ACT web site was built by AccessibilityOz in 2019.

Disability Rights Texas

AccessibilityOz built the Disability Rights Texas web site in 2017.
