VPAT / ACR review

AccessibilityOz can review a batch of VPATs, without needing input from you—the client—or the vendor.

Deliverables

For each VPAT you will receive:

  • Either a marked-up VPAT or a separate document listing both good and bad issues
  • An “Estimated Accuracy Score” for each VPAT: which represents how likely the VPAT accurately represents the accessibility of the product
  • An “Estimated Accessibility Score” for the product the VPAT applies to: which represents how accessible the product is (please note that if the VPAT has a low “Estimated Accuracy Score” then we will not be able to provide an “Accessibility Score”)
  • A list of questions that should be referred to the vendor

An overarching document will also be provided that lists all the VPATs, their Estimated Accuracy and Estimated Accessibility Scores.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that the Estimated Accessibility Score is an accurate representation of the accessibility of the product itself – only the accessibility of the product as indicated by the VPAT. If the VPAT has incorrect information, then the Estimated Accessibility Score will be incorrect. However, whether the VPAT is accurate or not can often be determined through this bulk review.

We go through the VPAT / ACR and at the end of the session you will know if the VPAT / ACR is accurate, with details to go back to the vendor. We can even meet with the vendor with you!

EEAAP Development

In order to develop an EEAAP, it is essential that the accuracy of the VPAT is assessed, as well as the accessibility of the product. AccessibilityOz can conduct this work, or rely on documentation you have developed. Either way, AccessibilityOz can develop an EEAAP to ensure that your students (or staff!) can access all content and functionality.
