Outline
This course covers training on developing accessible Excel documents and includes the following principles of document accessibility:
- Text
- Titles and headings
- Meaningful sequence
- Color and color contrast
- Tables
This is combined with specific instructions and exercises on creating the following in Excel:
- Setting language
- Accessible sheets
- Tables of data
- Charts and graphs
- Saving rules
The Accessibility Checker will be demonstrated, as well as why it is not always accurate.
Attendees work on a document of their own choosing throughout the day.
Handouts
Each person will receive a training manual and six months’ access to OzWiki.
What you should bring
Optional: Participants have the opportunity to work on their own documents, therefore it is recommended each person bring an Excel document.
